Have you ever seen the movie "Clue" or read an Agatha Christie novel? The party will bear a striking resemblance.

Each guest is given a unique character and arrives at the party appropriately dressed. There is a premise for the characters being brought together (perhaps a 1920’s speakeasy is open for business or maybe a wealthy debutante is celebrating her birthday). At some point during the party a murder is committed and there is an attempt to gather information or clues. Finally there is an explanation of how the crime was committed (a solution is given).

A Murderer Among Us mystery party is ideally suited for private parties or as a corporate "mixer" event. Everyone has been to that party where guests mill about awkwardly, hovering over the appetizers because there is nothing "to do." But at a murder mystery party, guests will arrive ready to interact with others. Some will have certain secrets to reveal to others, some will have tasks to complete with other guests, and some will even need to perform for everybody. If your party-goers are strangers they will soon be laughing and colluding like old friends. If your party-goers are already old friends then they will have a ton of fun seeing each other dressed--and ready--to kill.
